Calling All Teen Writers: Enter the Summer Writing Contest

Calling all teen writers: Rodman Public Library wants to read your work.Teen Writing Logo

Any teen, ages 12-18, can submit one (1) short story for the contest, but the teen must be able to come into the Main Library to pick up their prize, which will include a $25 Amazon gift card for first place and a $10 gift card for the runner-up. Every teen who enters the contest will receive a free book.

Maker Monday Crafters to Decorate Summer Tote Bag

Summer Tote BagMaker Monday crafters will decorate a summer tote bag when they meet Monday, June13 at 7:00 p.m. in Rodman Public Library’s Main Auditorium.

Led by Nicole Brown, Maker Monday is an in-person craft program for adults that is held monthly on select Mondays. All materials are provided free of charge, thanks to Friends of Rodman Library, but space is limited and registration is required for each session.

Play Family BINGO at RPL

Family BINGORodman Public Library will host two Family BINGO games this summer. Patrons of all ages are invited to play from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 27 and Monday, July 25. Both events are free and prizes will be given out, but space is limited and registration is required for each night. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 223.
