Summertime means Storytime at Rodman Branch Library.

Each Tuesday, from June 6 through July 25, two identical Storytime sessions will be held - one at 10:30 a.m. and another at 11:30 a.m. at the Branch.

Each week will feature different stories and activities related to the 2023 Summer Reading Program theme of All Together Now.

Branch Summer Reading Kick-off

All children are invited to the the Branch to kick-off the Summer Reading Program with fun festivities.  There will be face painting, scavenger hunt, a craft, a game, and treats. Please join us and bring a friend as we celebrate the beginning of the Summer Reading Program. No registration is required, come anytime between 1-4.

Rodman Public Library's Books and Coffee Book Club meets every second Monday of the month at the Rodman Branch Library. Led by Charlene Duro, the next book club meeting will be on September 11 at 6:30 p.m. when the selected title will be The Dispossessed: A Story of Asylum at the U.S.-Mexican Border and Beyond by John Washington.

Rodman Public Library's Books and Coffee Book Club meets every second Monday of the month at the Rodman Branch Library. Led by Charlene Duro, the next book club meeting will be on July 10 at 6:30 p.m. when the selected title will be The First Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill George Washington by Brad Meltzer. Fishy Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, will come to the Branch for a mini storytime and then proceed to Hot Pots accompanied by their guardian to paint a Nemo fish plate.  Registration is required. Cost for the event is payable to Hot Pots upon registration.

Who are the people in your neighborhood?

The Rodman Branch Library will help youngsters get to know a few of them during storytime sessions at 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday between April 11 and May 30.

With a theme of "All Together Now," a preview of the 2023 Summer Reading Program, each week of Who Are The People In Your Neighborhood Storytime will feature a guest speaker and a special activity.
