Are you feeling a little artistic this holiday season?
Rodman Public Library can help you find ways to express yourself. In fact, Rodman Library has a craft program for every age in December.
Here's a look at our lineup:
MAKER MONDAY
Monday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m.
Creating a Christmas gift box made of felt and decorated with ribbon and watercolor holly leaves will be the task of Monday Maker crafters when they meet Monday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Rodman Public Library’s Main Auditorium. (The program was originally scheduled for Dec. 6, but had to be postponed).
Led by Nicole Brown, Maker Monday is an in-person craft program for adults that is held monthly on select Mondays. All materials are provided free of charge, thanks to Friends of Rodman Library, but space is limited and registration is required for each session.

TEEN ORNAMENT DECORATING
Tuesday, DEC. 7 at 3:00 p.m.
Rodman Public Library invites teens, ages 12-18, to the Main Library at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7 to paint a ceramic ornament provided by Hot Pots. The ornaments will be processed at Hot Pots and will be available for pickup at the library or at Hot Pots in time for Christmas. All materials will be provided for free thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library. Registration is required on our online calendar or by calling 330-821-2665, ext. 217.
HOT POTS STORYTIME
(At the Branch Library)
Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 11 at 11:00 a.m.
The Rodman Public Library Branch will host Hot Pots Storytime for children ages 3-12 at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec.8 and at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11. Attendees will listen to a story at the Branch Library and then visit Hot Pots to paint ceramic tree figurine. The cost is $12 and patrons must register with Hot Pots by calling 330-823-3333 or online at hotpotspottery.com. For more information, call the Branch Library at 330-821-1313.
KIDS CRAFTING
Thursday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m.
Children who attend the December Kids Crafting program at Rodman Public Library will create a special holiday keepsake. All children, ages 7-12, are invited to the Main Library at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9 to make a gingerbread ornament craft from a terracotta pot. Kids Crafting programs are held monthly and all materials are provided by the Friends of Rodman Library. TAKE AND MAKE
(At the Branch Library)
During December while supplies last
Starting Wednesday, Dec. 1, kids can stop by the Rodman Branch Library to pick up Christmas countdown paper chain take and make craft. All supplies will be included, thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library, as well as step-by-step instructions. Supplies are limited and will be given out at a first come, first served basis.
