April is the time to Get Gardening.
Those interested in growing their own produce this year and only have a small plot of space available will want to join Jennifer White from the Stark County Ohio State University Extension when she visits Rodman Public Library at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 10.
White, an Urban Programs educator in the College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences, will give tips on how to get started in gardening.
Those attending the program will learn strategies for small spaces and container gardening. White will also provide suggestions for vegetables and companion plants suitable for maximizing gardening space and growing season.
The program is free, but registration is required.
