The holiday season will soon be upon us, and the Rodman Branch Library has just the thing to get little ones feeling festive – Holiday Storytime.
Each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. between November 21 and December 19, children of all ages are invited to visit the Branch Library to hear stories, sing songs, and take part in an activity.
Each week will feature a different theme with corresponding stories.
The schedule includes:
November 21 – Thanksgiving Storytime.
Children will make a placemat.
November 28 – Elf Storytime.
Children will make stockings with watercolors and white crayons.
December 5 – Reindeer Storytime.
Children will make reindeer slime.
December 12 – Countdown to Christmas Storytime.
Children will make a Twelves Days of Christmas paper countdown chain.
December 19 – Polar Express Storytime.
Children are encouraged to come in their pajamas to enjoy the story, and take part in some candy cane fishing and stringing bells. They will also be treated to hot chocolate.
No registration is required to attend the weekly program, which is supported by Friends of Rodman Public Library.
