Maker Monday, a new in-person craft program for adults, will make its debut at Rodman Public Library on Sept. 20.

Led by Nicole Brown, the head of circulation and adult programming at RPL, Monday Maker sessions will be held at the Main Library once a month at 7:00 p.m. on select Mondays. Each Maker Monday workshop will feature a different craft as well as various methods and techniques.

All materials will be provided free of charge, but space is limited to 30 participants and registration is required for each session.

“We are happy to be bringing people back into the library for programs,” said Brown. “Maker Monday will be similar to crafting programs that we have done in the past, but it will be held every month and will explore a lot of different types of projects.”

The fall series of crafts will kick off with a stamped kitchen towel on Sept. 20. On Oct. 20, Maker Monday crafters will make a candy corn bunting. The project for Nov. 20 will be a DIY cornucopia.

To register for Maker Monday sessions, call 330-821-2665, ext. 107, or visit Rodman Public Library’s online calendar at rodmanlibrary.evanced.info/signup.
