RPL Has Opportunities for Children to Get Creative

There are lots of opportunities for children to discover and explore their creative talents at Rodman Public Library.

Here's what's coming up:

 

HOT POTS STORYTIMEStained-Glass Leaf

Hot Pots Storytime continues in November with a fall theme.

Children, ages 2-12, are invited to come to the RPL Branch for a mini storytime and then proceed to Hot Pots, accompanied by their guardian, to paint a decorate a stained-glass leaf.

Two sessions will be held, including Wednesday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m. and another on Saturday, November 9 at 11 a.m.

The cost is $15.99 per child and registration is required. The fee for the event is payable to Hot Pots upon registration at hotpotspottery.com.

KIDS CRAFTINGCoffee Filter Turkeys

Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 14 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library to create coffee filter turkeys.

All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library.

LEGO LAB

Rodman Public Library’s Lego Lab continues at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15 with a monster theme.

 

Lego Lab, intended for children 6-12, is held on the third Tuesday of each month and children are encouraged to create items related to the monthly theme. 

 

The program is free, thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library, but space is limited and participants must register.
