Rodman Public Library will mark the beginning of a new year with the screening of one of the biggest superhero films of the previous year.
At 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, patrons of all ages are invited to the Main Auditorium to watch Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson in the titular role. Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods -- and imprisoned just as quickly — Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.
The movie is free and the library will provide fresh-popped popcorn to those attending, thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library.
No registration is required to attend the movie, but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
