Teens to Create Fall Crafts Sept. 20

Paper PumpkinCreativity will be in bloom at Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, September 20, when teens take part in a fall craft program.

From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. teens, ages 12-18, will have the opportunity to work on four different projects, including a 3-D paper pumpkin, a paper quilling fall tree, a woodland animal plastic bottle planter, and a string art piece using their initial.

Fall is Fun Time For Children at RPL

Some of Rodman Public Library’s most popular children’s programs are returning this fall, including Wee Read, Storytime and Family Fun Night.

In addition, the Kids Book Club, Kids Gaming and Kids Crafting will continue to be held monthly and there will be a couple other fun special events thrown in the mix during the months of September, October, and November.

Visit RPL at Days in The Park

A simple “hello” will earn two lucky area residents a new Apple iPad in August.

All area residents who visit the RPL table inside Miller Pavilion during the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival’s Days in the Park – Wednesday, August 10 through Saturday, August 13 -- will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for one of two new Apple iPads – one for those over 18 and one for those under 18.

Do Good With Burritos on August 22

Chipotle will host a dine-to-donate event for Friends of Rodman Public Library from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 22. Diners at the 1630 W. State St. location can help raise funds by presenting a flyer obtainable at Rodman Public Library or by telling their server they would like to support the Friends of Rodman Library. Those ordering online for pickup need to use the code V9KHFAH for the order to count towards donating 33 percent of the event sales to the cause. Delivery orders will not count toward the fundraiser.
